PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Horned Titan presents a solitary Triceratops standing above an expansive Late Cretaceous landscape as warm evening light spreads across the horizon. Its massive body occupies the rise, four powerful limbs planted among ferns, fallen vegetation and damp earth while the distant lowlands stretch toward a broad body of water.
The animal's extraordinary skull dominates its silhouette. Two elongated brow horns project forward above the eyes, accompanied by a shorter nasal horn, while the great bony frill rises behind the head in a broad protective arc. Below, the deep, hooked beak gives the face a powerful profile suited to cropping vegetation. Heavy folds of skin gather around the neck and shoulders, while subtler scales and creases travel across the muscular body toward the tapering tail.
Low sunlight catches the edges of the horns and frill and brings warm highlights to the otherwise muted hide. Around its feet, fern fronds and emerging vegetation provide a sense of scale against the enormous herbivore.

BACKGROUND AND HISTORY
The Triceratops (Triceratops horridus) lived during the closing portion of the Late Cretaceous Period, approximately 68–66 million years ago, in what is now western North America. Fossils are particularly well known from the Hell Creek Formation, whose rocks preserve river channels, floodplains, forests and wetlands from the final few million years before the end-Cretaceous mass extinction.
Triceratops was among the largest ceratopsian dinosaurs. Its enormous skull could comprise a remarkable proportion of its total body length and carried two long brow horns, a smaller nasal horn and an expansive bony frill. These structures were probably not devoted to a single purpose. Defence against predators is an obvious possibility, but display, species recognition and competition between individuals may also have contributed to their evolution.
Its beak and densely packed rows of specialised teeth reveal a powerful herbivore capable of cropping and processing tough plant material. Triceratops shared its environment with Edmontosaurus, Ankylosaurus and one of the most formidable terrestrial predators ever known, Tyrannosaurus rex. Fossils even preserve evidence that Tyrannosaurus fed upon Triceratops.
Then, approximately 66 million years ago, an asteroid struck near what is now Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. The environmental upheaval associated with the impact contributed to a global mass extinction that eliminated all non-avian dinosaurs.
Triceratops therefore did not merely belong to the Cretaceous. It stood among the final great dinosaurs of a lineage whose history had stretched across more than 160 million years.

We use Australia Post for all domestic and international shipping, with delivery times varying according to destination, carrier demand and customs process where applicable. As we are based in Western Australia, delivery typically takes approximately 2–4 business days within Western Australia and 3–6 business days for interstate destinations within Australia following dispatch.
