CANVAS PRINTS

Museum-quality pigment prints on premium artist canvas, created to preserve exceptional colour, depth, and longevity.

1. WHY CHOOSE CANVAS PRINTS?

Canvas prints bring artwork to life with rich texture, natural depth, and a gallery-inspired presentation. Printed directly onto premium artist canvas, they soften reflections while adding subtle surface character that enhances the viewing experience. Whether displayed as a stretched gallery wrap, paired with a floating frame, or presented within a wooden hanger system, canvas creates a warm, contemporary statement that feels at home in both modern and traditional interiors.

Unlike prints displayed behind glass, canvas can be enjoyed from almost any angle without distracting reflections, allowing the artwork itself to remain the centre of attention.

2. AVAILABLE CANVAS

  • Photo Satin Canvas: A premium 180sgm semi-matte finish with a subtle satin sheen. Engineered to deliver deep, rich blacks and extraordinarily vibrant colors.

    • Best used for: High-end photographic prints and commercial gallery wraps where color needs to pop without heavy light glare.

  • Specialty Gold Canvas: A striking canvas featuring a warm, metallic gold undertone rather than a standard bright white base.

    • Best used for: Eye-catching artistic prints, limited editions, and digital art where a unique, luxurious metallic warmth shines through the unprinted areas.

3. CHOOSE YOUR FINISH

How your canvas is finished changes both its appearance and how it can be displayed. Whether you prefer a ready-to-hang gallery wrap, a stretched canvas prepared for floating frames, or a flat canvas designed for traditional framing, each option offers a different presentation while showcasing the same artwork.

Gallery Wrap

The artwork continues around the edges of the wooden stretcher bars, creating a clean, contemporary finish that is ready to hang without requiring an additional frame. This gallery-style presentation allows the artwork to become the focus while adding depth and presence to the wall.

Best for

  • Contemporary interiors

  • Ready-to-hang artwork

  • Displaying without an external frame

  • Large statement pieces

White Edge
A white border is added around the artwork, allowing the canvas to be stretched over wooden bars while keeping the image entirely on the front face. This option is particularly well suited when you intend to add an external floating frame, as no part of the artwork wraps around the sides.

Best for

  • Floating frame presentations

  • Preserving the full artwork on the front

  • Gallery-style framing

  • Customers wanting maximum flexibility

Flat Canvas
Printed on premium artist canvas without additional wrap or borders, this option is supplied perfectly flat. It is designed for customers who wish to frame their canvas behind glass, mount it professionally, or use their own preferred framing system. It also provides the flexibility to stretch or frame the artwork at a later date.

Best for

  • Traditional picture frames

  • Professional custom framing

  • Customers supplying their own framing

  • Long-term flexibility

4. RECOMMENDED PRESENTATION OPTIONS

The same canvas print can often be displayed in several different ways. Choosing the right presentation allows you to tailor the artwork to your home, décor, and personal style.

5. CHOOSING YOUR PRESENTATION

Once your canvas has been printed, the final presentation is simply a matter of personal style. Each display option offers a different aesthetic while preserving the beauty of the artwork. Whether you prefer a contemporary gallery finish, a minimalist hanging system, or a natural timber presentation, our display options are designed to complement your artwork rather than compete with it.

Canvas Stretch Bars
Create a traditional gallery wrap by stretching your canvas over premium timber stretcher bars. The result is a clean, ready-to-hang presentation that showcases the artwork without the need for an external frame.
Ideal for: Modern interiors • Gallery displays • Stand-alone canvas artwork

Floating Frames
Designed to surround a stretched canvas with a narrow shadow gap, floating frames add refinement while preserving the illusion that the artwork is suspended within the frame. A timeless gallery presentation suitable for both contemporary and classic spaces.
Ideal for: Premium gallery presentation • Home interiors • Exhibition-style display

Wooden Hanger Frames
A beautifully simple display system that suspends the canvas from natural timber rails. Perfect for relaxed, Scandinavian, coastal, and modern interiors where a lighter, more casual presentation is desired.
Ideal for: Contemporary homes • Minimalist décor • Lightweight wall displays

Traditional Frames
For a timeless, classic presentation, flat canvas can be displayed within a traditional picture frame, either behind glass or mounted without glazing depending on your preferred finish. This option offers the greatest flexibility for custom framing, allowing you to choose from an extensive range of frame profiles, colours, and matting styles to complement both the artwork and your interior.
Ideal for: Classic interiors • Custom framing • Museum-style presentation • Personalised frame selections

6. UNDERSTANDING CANVAS WRAP

Canvas wrap refers to how the printed artwork finishes around the edges of a stretched canvas. Depending on your chosen presentation, the image may continue around the sides, remain entirely on the front with a white edge, or be supplied flat for custom stretching or framing. Understanding these options will help you choose the finish that best complements both your artwork and your preferred display style.

8. CARE AND LONGEVITY

Canvas prints require very little maintenance and are designed to provide many years of enjoyment when displayed in suitable indoor conditions.

  • Dust gently using a soft, dry microfibre cloth or feather duster. Avoid abrasive materials or excessive pressure on the canvas surface.

  • Keep dry. Canvas should be displayed in a dry indoor environment and protected from excessive humidity, moisture, or direct contact with water.

  • Avoid prolonged direct sunlight where possible to help preserve colour vibrancy over many years.
