Set within a lush garden alive with soft greenery and filtered sunlight, this portrait traces the life journey of an Oodle through its three defining stages. The term "Oodle" refers to a modern group of companion dogs developed by crossing the Poodle with a variety of established breeds, creating combinations that blend the intelligence, trainability, and low-shedding coat of the Poodle with the distinctive qualities of their companion breed. Well-known examples include the Labradoodle, Groodle, Cavoodle, Cockapoo, and many others. Rather than representing a single recognised breed, the Oodle reflects a contemporary approach to dog breeding that has emerged in response to changing lifestyles and the growing demand for adaptable family companions.
The popularity of Poodle crossbreeds expanded rapidly during the late twentieth century as breeders sought dogs that combined affectionate temperaments with versatility and reduced shedding. Although individual Oodle varieties differ considerably in size, appearance, and ancestry, they generally share a reputation for intelligence, sociability, and a strong desire to engage with people. Our fine art and canvas prints are produced to order, allowing each piece to be carefully prepared and checked before leaving the studio. We use Australia Post for all domestic and international shipping, with delivery times varying according to destination, carrier demand and customs process where applicable. As we are based in Western Australia, delivery typically takes approximately 2–4 business days within Western Australia and 3–6 business days for interstate destinations within Australia following dispatch.
