The Outback King presents a commanding portrait of an Australian Stock Horse standing proudly amongst the granite outcrops and open bushland of the Australian High Country. The Australian Stock Horse (Equus ferus caballus) has long been regarded as the quintessential working horse of rural Australia, valued for its calm temperament, agility, endurance, and willingness to work closely with people. Throughout the country's pastoral history, these horses became indispensable partners on cattle stations and sheep properties, where stockmen relied upon them to cover immense distances, negotiate difficult terrain, and handle livestock with precision and confidence under often challenging conditions.
These same qualities have ensured the breed's continuing success beyond traditional station life. Australian Stock Horses excel in campdrafting, stockman's challenges, polocrosse, endurance riding, show events, and recreational horsemanship, demonstrating a versatility that few breeds can equal. In 1971, the formation of the Australian Stock Horse Society provided a formal framework for preserving the breed's exceptional working ability while maintaining high standards of conformation, temperament, and athleticism. Today, the Australian Stock Horse remains a powerful symbol of Australia's pastoral heritage, representing generations of horsemanship, resilience, and the enduring partnership between rider, horse, and the Australian landscape.

As we are based in Western Australia, delivery typically takes approximately 2–4 business days within Western Australia and 3–6 business days for interstate destinations within Australia following dispatch.
