The Holstein (Bos taurus) originated in the lowland regions of the Netherlands and northern Germany, where centuries of selective breeding produced cattle renowned for exceptional milk production. During the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, Holsteins spread throughout Europe, North America, Australasia, and many other parts of the world, becoming the foundation of modern commercial dairying. Today they are the most widely recognised dairy cattle breed, their distinctive black-and-white markings becoming an enduring symbol of milk production across countless agricultural landscapes. Our fine art and canvas prints are produced to order, allowing each piece to be carefully prepared and checked before leaving the studio. We use Australia Post for all domestic and international shipping, with delivery times varying according to destination, carrier demand and customs process where applicable. As we are based in Western Australia, delivery typically takes approximately 2–4 business days within Western Australia and 3–6 business days for interstate destinations within Australia following dispatch.
