Stretching across a windswept coastal grassland, The Greyhound presents three stages of life within a landscape that mirrors the breed's elegance and athletic heritage.
The puppy stands attentively in the foreground, its slender limbs and inquisitive gaze already revealing the distinctive silhouette that will define adulthood. At the centre of the composition, the mature Greyhound rises above the surrounding grasses, poised and alert. Every line of its body emphasises refinement, from the deep chest and narrow waist to the long, graceful neck and streamlined head. Beside it rests the senior dog, relaxed yet dignified, retaining the breed's characteristic elegance despite the subtle signs of age visible around the face. The Greyhound is among the oldest of all recognised dog breeds, with a lineage that extends back thousands of years through the civilisations of the ancient world. Images resembling modern Greyhounds appear in Egyptian tombs, classical artwork, and medieval manuscripts, reflecting a remarkably enduring form shaped by generations of selective breeding. Throughout its long history, the breed became synonymous with grace, speed, and refined athleticism, qualities that earned it a place alongside nobility while also establishing it as one of the finest hunting dogs ever developed.
Unlike scent hounds that followed trails with their noses, the Greyhound belongs to the ancient family of sight hounds, relying upon exceptional vision to detect and pursue moving quarry across open country. Its streamlined body, deep chest, flexible spine, and powerful hindquarters evolved to deliver explosive acceleration and extraordinary speed over short distances. We use Australia Post for all domestic and international shipping, with delivery times varying according to destination, carrier demand and customs process where applicable. As we are based in Western Australia, delivery typically takes approximately 2–4 business days within Western Australia and 3–6 business days for interstate destinations within Australia following dispatch.
