The Andalusian (Equus caballus) for centuries, the preservation of the Andalusian has relied upon meticulous breeding practices that sought to maintain both athletic excellence and unmistakable breed character. Long before modern registries existed, Spanish monasteries, noble estates, and royal breeding establishments carefully recorded pedigrees to protect the qualities that distinguished these remarkable horses. This tradition eventually evolved into the formal studbook of the Pura Raza Española, one of the oldest continuously maintained horse registries in the world.
Although grey Andalusians have become especially iconic, bay, black, chestnut, and other recognised coat colours have remained important components of carefully managed breeding programmes. Modern breeders continue to evaluate conformation, temperament, movement, and genetic diversity alongside colour, ensuring that each new generation reflects the historic qualities that have defined the breed for centuries.

As we are based in Western Australia, delivery typically takes approximately 2–4 business days within Western Australia and 3–6 business days for interstate destinations within Australia following dispatch.
