PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Angora Heritage portrays a mature doe and her young kid standing closely together in a flowering meadow. The adult forms a sheltering presence at the centre of the composition, her head raised and her body turned slightly towards the viewer. Nestled against her chest, the kid lifts its face towards its mother, creating a quiet point of connection beneath the sweeping curve of her horns. Their closely grouped forms and matching white coats establish an intimate family portrait surrounded by the openness of the pasture.
Soft morning light passes through the doe’s long ringlets, transforming the fleece into layers of luminous ivory, pale cream, and gentle gold. The kid’s shorter curls appear softer and more compact, creating a subtle contrast between youth and maturity. Purple lupines rise throughout the foreground among yellow buttercups and fine green grasses, while weathered fencing and distant hills recede into silvery mist. Milk supply, attentive mothering, sound feet, reliable kidding, and resilience under local conditions all influence whether valuable traits will continue through the herd. Detailed pedigrees and performance records help breeders identify families that consistently combine desirable mohair with robust constitution.
Modern selection programs use these records to guide mating decisions while avoiding the loss of genetic diversity. Breed societies also maintain standards and registrations that allow bloodlines to be traced across generations and between countries. Through this careful stewardship, the Angora remains not simply a relic of pastoral history, but a living population whose future depends upon balancing fibre quality with health, adaptability, and responsible breeding.

As we are based in Western Australia, delivery typically takes approximately 2–4 business days within Western Australia and 3–6 business days for interstate destinations within Australia following dispatch.
