Golden Bond captures an intimate expression of companionship between two Lusitanos beneath the sheltering branches of an ancient Portuguese cork oak. Bathed in the rich glow of late afternoon, the horses stand quietly with their foreheads gently touching, communicating through one of the most instinctive gestures within the equine world. There is no movement or display, only a profound sense of trust, familiarity, and mutual reassurance. Sunlight filters through the broad canopy above, illuminating the warm golden tones of their coats while creating delicate patterns of light and shadow across the meadow grasses below. The Lusitano (Equus ferus caballus) beyond its celebrated athletic ability, the Lusitano has long been recognised for its exceptional social intelligence. Living and working closely alongside people for centuries encouraged the development of a horse that is attentive, emotionally responsive, and naturally inclined to form lasting relationships. These qualities have made the breed equally valued as a family companion, recreational riding horse, and trusted working partner.
Lusitanos also display strong social behaviour within their own herds. Mutual grooming, close companionship, and cooperative interactions help strengthen relationships and contribute to the calm, confident temperament for which the breed is renowned.
Golden Bond celebrates this quieter side of the Lusitano's character. Rather than emphasising performance, the artwork focuses on trust, companionship, and the deep social connections that have become one of the breed's defining qualities.

As we are based in Western Australia, delivery typically takes approximately 2–4 business days within Western Australia and 3–6 business days for interstate destinations within Australia following dispatch.
