PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Among Friends portrays a peaceful gathering of Fancy Mice within a richly textured woodland-inspired enclosure, where weathered bark, moss-covered logs, scattered grain, and dried grasses create a natural setting for quiet interaction. Some mice emerge cautiously from the shelter of a hollow log while others forage across the woodland floor, their varied positions creating a balanced composition filled with subtle movement and gentle activity. Every individual contributes to the scene, drawing the viewer through the layered environment as attention shifts from one inquisitive mouse to the next.
Soft natural light filters through the surrounding grasses and branches, revealing the remarkable diversity of the Fancy Mouse. Sleek black, warm chocolate, silver-grey, soft cream, fawn, and striking piebald coats combine to create a harmonious tapestry of colour and pattern. The Fancy Mouse (Mus musculus domesticus)
Fancy Mice are naturally social animals that communicate through a sophisticated combination of scent marking, ultrasonic vocalisations, body language, and touch. In the wild, house mice live within structured family groups where individuals recognise one another, establish territories, and cooperate in raising young. These highly developed social behaviours have been retained in domesticated Fancy Mice, making companionship and environmental enrichment important aspects of their care.
Generations of responsible breeding have selected not only for the extraordinary variety of colours and coat types seen today but also for calm temperaments and confident behaviour around people. Mouse clubs and exhibition societies throughout the world continue to promote high standards of health, temperament, and conformation while preserving the remarkable diversity that has made the Fancy Mouse one of the most admired companion rodents.
Although each variety differs in appearance, all Fancy Mice share the same intelligence, curiosity, and strong social instincts inherited from their wild ancestors. Their ability to interact, communicate, and live within established groups remains one of the defining characteristics of the species, contributing greatly to their enduring popularity as companion animals.

As we are based in Western Australia, delivery typically takes approximately 2–4 business days within Western Australia and 3–6 business days for interstate destinations within Australia following dispatch.
